Hi Glow Girl!
Welcome back to another inspired post.
I hope at the point you are reading this post, that your day is going well, and maybe this post can make it even better! 🙂 Lately, I have been trying to think of topics that would be inspiring to write about, and I instantly thought about the topic of confidence and self-belief because it is such an important message to get across; especially to young people.
Now, I can definitely admit there are times when I’m not feeling confident in myself and as a result it has restricted me from doing the things that inspire and motivate me, as a result my productivity goes down. Losing my confidence starts for me when I begin telling myself, that I am not good enough or that no one would like me etc. Maybe you can relate to this from your own experience?
When I notice this happening, I have learnt to take a few minutes for myself and focus on what I am successful at, and remembering the things I have done well. I also reflect on what I am grateful for in my life. By doing this I remind myself that life is full of ups and downs and that I must keep my mind balanced by seeing both sides. Just a few minutes doing this helps to ‘centre’ me and I feel so much better and ready to take on the next challenge.
By me writing this post, I am hoping it will make you aware, that it is so crucial to appreciate who you are as a person and to love who you are, just as much when things are not going well, as it is when things are going well. I think this exercise allows you to believe in yourself, because you appreciate all of yourself and don’t beat yourself up when things are going wrong. Practising this mind-set will help give you the confidence to try new opportunity’s and to sometimes push beyond your comfort zone. By, doing this who knows where you will be in 5 years’ time. I know often these exercises are easier said than done, but I encourage you to make the commitment and persevere during the low moments, it really will be worth it.
Remember when you are going for your goals, dreams or whatever you want to achieve in life, remember to believe in yourself and to be confident in yourself and if it is something you love doing you will have every chance of achieving it.
Thank you for reading and I will be back with more inspiring posts. Bye for now J
